WubbaNub Pacifier Review!
Probably you are wondering why do I recommend this product. Today, I’m sharing my real opinion on the WubbaNub as a professional Newborn Care Specialist. Let’s find out if the WubbaNub is worth it or if it’s just another expensive baby product.
This pacifier invented by a mom to help newborn babies keep the pacifier in a place.
WubbaNubs were designed to be easy to grasp, almost impossible to lose, and comforting you baby, they marketed as “baby’s and mom’s first friend”
They have been on the market since 1999.
The pacifier nipple part made from a medical-grade silicone and is Latex free, BPA, PVC and Phthalate free. The plush is made from polyester fibers.
Is it really work? The weight of the animal helps to keep the pacifier in a place. For a newborn, the stuffed animal typically be positioned on their chest so if baby stops sucking or releases the pacifier, the animal will stay in place and the nipple of the pacifier will not be far away. This prevents of baby losing their pacifier. After baby fall asleep and unsupervised, just put the pacifier far away from baby (far away from baby mouth or nasal entry). Are WubbaNub Pacifiers Safe? 1.) Approved for use during observed napping and while baby is awake. 2.) They are not approved for overnight sleeping because of the animal attached. So if you use as recommended, these pacifier is safe. But if you do not follow these guidelines, obviously safety is not guaranteed.
How to clean? 1.) Place the WubbaNub in the mesh laundry bag. 2.)Use baby-safe detergent and set the machine on the gentle cycle. 3.) air-dry it, waiting for it to dry completely. 4.) Bring a pot of water to a boil and place the nipple portion in to the water for 2 - 4 minutes to sterilize.

With this toy, parents can quickly calm their little ones and create a peaceful environment for them to relax and play.
Miracle Blanket Swaddle is my first choice for newborns, in order to avoid sleepless nights with a colicky baby. I think it is a great option for most parents and babies. The Miracle Blanket was invented by Mike Gatten, father of 3. According to the Miracle Baby website, what makes this swaddle so effective is that it combines classic swaddling with lateral abdominal pressure providing babies with a cozy and secure feeling that helps to calm and soothe. Is the Miracle Blanket Safe? More than 1.5 million babies have been safely swaddled in the Miracle Blanket since it was invented back in 2003.
Pros:
Easy to use and get a secure wrap.
Escape-proof. Less likely that your baby will be able to wiggle their arms out and wake up baby.
100% cotton material makes this a product stretchy.
The soft cotton fabric keeps your baby cozy through the night.
Because there is no fixed sizing, you can be sure that it will fit your baby, no matter how tiny or chunky.
Miracle Baby website also has very helpful instructions how to use.
I love that it is free of zippers and velcro. You can wrap the swaddle as tight or as loose as you want without the restriction for your baby's comfort.
The Miracle Blanket can be used from 0-14 weeks, or until your baby starts to roll over.
The material stays sturdy through heavy use.
Baby sleeps longer, keep babies on their backs.
Gender neutral colors available and cute prints.
Calm crying, fussiness baby.
Cons:
Could be a little pricey.
I love Miracle Blanket, however, it does require more work than a simple zippered swaddle.
Some of my clients were mention that, there seems to be an excessive amount of fabric to deal with, and it tends to get tangled or twisted,
The multiple flaps under the baby's back can also be lumpy if you don't tuck it securely.
Swaddles is a 3 season fabric and it is best suited for nurseries between 67°-72°F.
Might shrink.
100% cotton might be warm for babies in summer months.
